The 4-H Nepal took the initiative to hold a dialogue by inviting youth affiliated with different political parties and social sectors to discuss how youth can take a lead in maintaining social harmony, peace and brotherhood in Terai at a time when tension was increasing in Terai as people were agitating to ensure their rights in the constitution. There was a kind of vacuum in politics as attempts for dialogue were not initiated to minimize the tension. In such a context, 4-H Nepal organized the dialogue in Kathmandu on September 5, 2015. Youths from both the Terai and Hill expressed their views in a healthy and interactive way.
