Policy dialogue on youth and agriculture was organized in Kathmandu to discuss the status of agriculture in Nepal and its potential involvement and engagement of youth in agriculture. Scholars and experts of agriculture, representatives of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI), and the National Planning Commission delivered separate presentations on policy dialogue. The discussions encouraged active youth participation in agriculture and emphasized the need for policy and legal reforms, including new laws aligned with the federal structure of the country. Furthermore, the importance of formulating appropriate guidelines, providing incentives, and launching special campaigns was highlighted to attract youth in agriculture and promote youth entrepreneurship.
