4-H Nepal successfully organized the  Pre-Summit Workshop from November 16 – 20, 2024, as a pivotal step toward the highly anticipated International Green Summit- 2025. This pre-summit event brought together fifteen delegates from Nepal, Taiwan, and the Philippines, fostering collaboration  on sustainable solutions for a greener future. The workshop aimed to equip participants with a deeper understanding of sustainability challenges and opportunities in the region, setting a strong foundation for the upcoming summit.

The workshop began with a guided tour of the Kathmandu Valley, offering participants a unique opportunity to explore the city’s rich history, cultural landmarks, and heritage. Meetings were held throughout the program to discuss strategies and plans for the successful organization of the upcoming International Green Summit 2025.  Additionally, participants also took part in a field visit to Chitlang and Jarsing Pauwa, where they engaged with local communities, learned about indigenous food, cultural practices, and traditions, and observed areas directly impacted by climate change. These activities provided valuable insights into the region’s challenges and sustainability efforts.
