4-H Nepal and the College of Natural Resource Management (CNRM), Pakhribas Dhankuta, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a one-year collaboration to enhance student leadership and career development. According to the agreement, CNRM Pakhribas will delegate students to participate and facilitate at the 3rd AG Youth Leadership Summit in Chitwan from June 27-29, 2024.
Under this partnership, 4-H Nepal commits to organizing and facilitating leadership development programs, workshops, and seminars, providing career counselling sessions, coordinating national and international exposure opportunities, delivering technical support for projects and research, establishing a mentorship program, and promoting agro-based entrepreneurship and sustainable agricultural activities.
Concurrently, CNRM Pakhribas will assist in the organization and facilitation of these initiatives, offer resources and facilities for career counselling, encourage student participation in exposure opportunities, collaborate on climate change and agriculture projects, support the establishment of a mentorship program, and promote sustainable agricultural practices.
The implementation of this MoU will include regular joint planning meetings, continuous evaluation and feedback mechanisms, and periodic reporting to ensure the collaboration’s efficacy and success.
