4-H Rampur, in collaboration with 4-H Nepal, organized a webinar on the topic of “Growing of Saffron Indoor” on March 16, 2021, at 4 p.m. The goal of the webinar was to explore new agricultural entrepreneurship techniques for Nepalese youth by sharing knowledge and experiences through presentations. The webinar aimed to engage as many participants as possible, particularly youth interested in agriculture and technology. Saffron is highly valuable and irreplaceable in the world, with numerous qualities in the medicinal sector. Its ability to tolerate a variety of soil pH levels (6–8) makes it a unique and valuable agricultural and export product. While the practical process of growing saffron is usually hands-on, the webinar facilitated learning from an experienced speaker from Iran, the largest producer and exporter of saffron. Despite the limitations of conducting a practical session through a webinar, the event successfully concluded with 35 participants.
