On the occasion of International Youth Day 2025, the WFF Nepal Provincial Youth Team (PYT) Sudurpashchim, with the support of FAO Nepal and in collaboration with College of Natural Resource Management Tikapur, Agriculture Student Liason Forum, Amnesty International Kailali Youth Network, Tharu Krishi Bidhyarthi Samaj, and 4H Nepal, organized an engaging session on climate-resilient agriculture, sustainable farming, and youth-led innovations.
The event brought together over 80 participants to share knowledge, inspire action, and highlight the role of youth in sustainable food systems. It featured expert sessions on climate-resilient agriculture and sustainable farming, covering concepts, practices, and opportunities. Discussions explored how universities, communities, and youth can drive climate-smart agriculture through eco-friendly, digital, and indigenous innovations.
The sessions were followed by group discussions where participants identified local agricultural challenges and co-created practical solutions. The event concluded with the message that when youth lead, communities grow stronger, and sustainable farming becomes a reality.
