“Nurturing Nature, Inspiring Youth: 4-H Medicinal Plant Garden”

On the auspicious occasion of AFU Day (Asar 3, 2082), the 4-H Nepal AFU section in Tikapur, Kailali, proudly inaugurated a Medicinal Plant Garden on the AFU Tikapur campus, launching a long-term initiative aimed at promoting environmental care, herbal knowledge, and youth engagement. The event saw active participation from students, teachers, and 4-H members, who planted a diverse selection of medicinal herbs, laying the foundation for a living green classroom dedicated to education, sustainability, and wellness.

This initiative seeks to raise awareness about the value of medicinal plants, foster environmental responsibility among youth, and create a peaceful, educational space for future generations. The project was made possible through the guidance and support of Assistant Professors Mr. Milan Ghimire (Economics), Dr. Bhuwan Raj Bhatta (Animal Science), and Mr. Sanjay Raut (Plant Breeding), whose dedication turned a shared vision into reality.
