INTRODUCTION
A Youth Network is a formal or informal platform designed to unify and amplify the voices of young people at local, national, regional, and global levels.
The 100 Youth Eco Leader Network is a dynamic and diverse community comprising 100 youths from over 60 districts across Nepal. This network includes individuals from a range of disciplines such as agriculture, social science, law, engineering, medicine, and journalism, with a significant representation from marginalized communities, including Madhesi, Janajati, and Dalit, underscoring its commitment to inclusivity. Established by 4-H Nepal, the network emerged as a pivotal outcome of the 3rd AG Climate Youth Leadership Summit, held from June 27-29, 2024, in Chitwan. The formation of this network on June 29, 2024, concluded one of the summit’s 11 essential activities.
OBJECTIVES AND VISION
• Mobilize Local Youth-Led Actions: Act as a catalyst for various youth-led initiatives in different districts of Nepal.
• Promote Sustainability: Foster a shared vision of creating a sustainable, just, and equitable future among young leaders.
• Support 4-H Nepal’s Goals: Contribute to 4-H Nepal’s initiatives in climate change, SDGs, agriculture, and community development.
• Empower Marginalized Youth: Amplify the voices of marginalized communities, including Madhesi, Janajati, and Dalit youth.
• Provide Skills and Knowledge: Equip young people with the necessary skills and knowledge to lead their own development and shift social norms.
PROGRAM INVOLVEMENT
The network will work closely with 4-H Nepal programming teams on key projects including,

SUPPORT AND COLLABORATION
Technical Support: 4-H Nepal will provide technical assistance to ensure that young leaders have access to the resources and tools necessary for effective action and innovation.
Mentorship: 4-H Nepal will provide mentorship programs that connect young leaders with experienced professionals, helping them navigate challenges and develop leadership skills.
Facilitation of Regional Strategies: 4-H Nepal will provide support in crafting and implementing region-specific strategies that align with local needs and priorities.
Skill Development: 4-H Nepal will provide opportunities for skill development in leadership, project management, and advocacy, empowering youth to take charge of their personal and community development.
Tailored Trainings: 4-H Nepal will provide tailored training programs designed specifically for each project and program, addressing the unique needs and objectives of the initiatives.
WORKING MODALITY
An executive committee comprising 8 members will be established within the 100 Youth Eco Leader Network. This committee will be led by a Coordinator, who will be selected from among the 100 youths. Additionally, there will be 7 Province Heads, each chosen to represent one of Nepal’s provinces, who will oversee the youth groups within their respective regions. The executive committee will work in coordination with the central team of 4-H Nepal and will be responsible for reporting progress and collaborating on strategic initiatives. The 100 youth leaders will be organized into 7 teams, with each team assigned to a specific province. These teams will focus on programs and projects that are tailored to address the unique needs and priorities of their respective provinces.
